The Drug Interdiction Unit is charged with the duties of investigating illegal drug activity within Albany County, including the “Hill Towns” of the County.  This unit works closely with a variety of Agencies from all levels of government including the D.E.A., Capital District Drug Enforcement Task Force, New York State Police and local city, town and village police departments to curtail drug activity.
